Stevy Worah-Ozimo has experienced first-hand how athletics can change a life and open doors. After growing up in Libreville, Gabon, Stevy attended Prytanee Militaire de Saint Louis school in Senegal, and then played in North Carolina Central University’s men’s basketball program. While in college, Stevy once ranked 4th in the nation in rebounding, and subsequently was signed to the NBA D-League and played in several overseas teams including Halifax Rainmen in the Canadian NBL, Sports Plazza Casablanca in Morocco, just to name a few to the extensive list.

 

Stevy is a social impact entrepreneur. Currently, he runs several successful grassroot programs benefiting youths in the United States and Asia. He is a member of the United Nations Global Compact and was a volunteer fundraiser for the UNICEF Tap Water Project. Stevy served as a member of the advisory board of the New York City-based program Kids in the Game. He previously was instrumental as the Head of Strategic Partnership and Development at NGO SEED Project.

 

Stevy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Accounting. He is deeply committed to changing the lives of youth around the world through athletics, and education. Stevy is an active guest speaker and mentor to many young leaders in Academia and the Athletic world.
