Biography
Joaquim Magouindi
Joaquim is an alumni player of a basketball club in Gabon known as "Don Bosco", he made his debut in the sport before going to pursue his higher education in Senegal in 2016. He has always been interested in sport, which will lead him in a course of sports volunteering including in the organizing committee of the African Cup of Nations in Gabon from 2013, the qualifiers of the World Cup 2018, and the Marathon of Gabon in charge of the reception of the general public, management of supporters and the management of supplies during the marathon.
In addition, he was a member of an association "basketball academy club" that promotes basketball in Gabon in which he will volunteer in charge of photography of their private league "Bac League". In Senegal, he continues to rub shoulders with the world of sport and participates as a volunteer in the activities of SEED Academy and Giants for Africa. Its recent activity was the African Taekwondo Championship in June 2021 whose task was to ensure that authorities and personalities were put in place at the event. For him, sport today has another dimension beyond bringing the world together, it can be generating and creating value in Africa and in the world.
Beyond his career in the world of sports, Joaquim is currently a Master’s degree student in marketing and business intelligence in Dakar. He puts his knowledge in marketing and communication at the service of project leaders who wish to create income-generating activities. In addition, he is passionate about new technologies that have led him to follow training in programming, web development but also in data analytics. He accompanies Don Bosco Basketball as a communication assistant whose mission is to develop the communications plans of the various activities of the club. Rigorous and ambitious, Joaquim wants to put his acquired skills at the service of the development of sport and youth in Africa.
