Biography
Mireille Mungedi
Mimi, a native of Gabon and Congo (DRC), currently resides in Canada. After graduating High School in Gabon, with the help of her parents she went to the USA to pursue her dream of playing basketball. A dream she fulfilled and exceeded beyond her wild imagination. She managed to get offered an athletic scholarship by the University of Nevada, Reno after passing her ACT while barely knowing English. With focus and dedication to her schoolwork and basketball training, she excelled on and off the court and graduated with a Bachelor and Master’s in Civil Engineering in 5 years, named 2-time MWC Defensive Player of the Year and got drafted 25th overall by the Tulsa Shock (WNBA) in 2015. Now, she is a structural Engineer.
